[Remote] Financial Analyst – Entry Level

The Financial Analyst will support the CFO and finance team with budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and analysis, offering hands-on exposure to financial planning and analysis.ResponsibilitiesAssist Finance Department with development of financial forecasts and budgetsEngage in the annual planning process and on-going quarterly forecastsPrepare and analyze monthly financial and operating reports including but not limited to monthly operating statements, forecasts, and budget data. Assist in the preparation of monthly forecasts, annual budgets, and long range plansAssist in the development and production of monthly reports, providing regular updates on YTD, QTD and MTD performance to CFOAnalyze current and past trends in key performance indicators including all areas of revenue, expenses, and capital expendituresAssist in development of quarterly reports that are distributed to 8am’s member benefit programs and integrated partnersAssist with the continued development of budgeting, financial forecasting, and operating planSupport management team and department heads with analysis and reporting as neededProvide financial analysis and reporting for recurring meetings related to projects and corporate financial performanceIncrease productivity by developing automated applications and reports; coordinate information requirementsDevelop financial models, conduct benchmarking and process analysisSkillsBachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or a related field, or expected graduation by May 2026Highest standards of accuracy and attention to detail in a dynamic, multitasking environmentSolid knowledge of general accounting and financial planningAble to work independentlyAdvanced proficiency in ExcelHighly analytical, detail oriented and strong business sense; proven ability to manage new ideas and creative solutions and demonstrated experience managing such mechanisms to an end resultExtensive database experience as well as working with BI tools such as TableauCompany OverviewAt AffiniPay, we’re continuously tackling exciting and interesting problems to define the direction of the financial technology industry and transform the way professionals work.
