[Remote] Financial Analyst

As a Financial Analyst, you will create forecasts, conduct financial analyses, and provide actionable insights to support decision-making and contribute to the organization’s financial strategy and planning.ResponsibilitiesParticipates in the preparation of agency budgetSupports preparation of contract renewal packages including amendments and budget modificationsPrepares and analyzes operating and strategic plans, including monthly and quarterly forecastsDesigns complex worksheets and/or databases for tracking and reportingProvides financial and technical expertise on projects requiring complex financial analysisProduces monthly budget monitoring reports for corporate finance, explaining budget to actual variancesPrepares and publishes monthly operating management reports and attends financial review meetingsAssists in the preparation of financial statements, periodic and year end contract based cost reportsAssists with financial reporting, preparation of supporting schedules and data analysisMonthly expense monitoring and analysisPerforms related duties as requestedSkillsBachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance with three plus years of relevant experienceUnderstanding of accounting principles and practicesAbility to create draw insights from reports and/or dashboards using reporting tools equivalent to Power BI is highly desirableIntermediate knowledge of budget development/management, cost projections and reporting requirementsAdvanced personal computer skills including preparation of complex Excel spreadsheets, routine word processing and preparation of presentations to a sophisticated audienceCommunication skills and ability to build relationships and consensus both internally and externallyThe ability to present ideas, information and viewpoints clearly both verbally and in writingEffective oral and written communications skillsThe analytical skills, experience and good judgment to present and explain financial analysesA commitment to team objectives and Didi Hirsch philosophiesAbility to adapt to changing needs by acquiring new skills and knowledgeBenefitsYou have the option to elect into a 9/80 flex work scheduleAsk us about loan repayment programs you may qualify for by working at Didi HirschCompany OverviewDidi Hirsch Mental Health Services is a non-profit firm that promotes child outpatient mental health and family reinforcement services.
