[Remote] Finance Transformation & R&A Governance Lead

This role focuses on improving governance, reporting accuracy, and cost optimization across Refunds & Appeasements (R&A) processes for a large technology/delivery sector client.ResponsibilitiesLead end-to-end finance transformation initiatives focused on Refunds & Appeasements (R&A), including governance, reporting alignment, and operational process optimizationEstablish governance frameworks, standardized taxonomy, and a Single Source of Truth (SSOT) for R&A-related reporting and data managementPartner across Finance, Operations, Product, Technology, and Reporting teams to resolve reporting discrepancies and improve operational-financial alignmentAnalyze reason-code level data and reporting gaps to improve visibility into refunds, credits, appeasements, settlements, and related operational costsDrive initiatives focused on improving reporting accuracy, reducing financial leakage, and strengthening operational controlsSupport alignment between operational reporting, General Ledger mapping, and P&L reporting structuresLead cross-functional working sessions, stakeholder management, and program execution within complex enterprise environmentsSkills4+ years of experience leading Finance Transformation, Operational Finance, Payments Transformation, or related enterprise transformation initiativesStrong understanding of finance and accounting concepts including cost management, General Ledger structures, reconciliations, and P&L reportingExperience working across cross-functional environments involving Finance, Operations, Technology, Data, and Reporting teamsExperience with governance, reporting standardization, data remediation, or enterprise reporting transformation initiativesStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience identifying reporting gaps, process inconsistencies, and operational inefficienciesRefunds & Appeasements (R&A)Payments OperationsChargebacks / DisputesReconciliation & Settlement OperationsOperational Finance TransformationFinancial Reporting GovernanceEcommerce / Delivery / Marketplace OperationsCompany OverviewSSi People, located in Cranberry Township, PA, is an organization with over 25 years of staffing industry experience across various labor verticals in the United States, serving Fortune 1000 companies.
