The Finance Operational Analyst II is responsible for providing financial support for critical areas, assisting in budget preparation, forecasting, and month-end close cycles while collaborating across the company to build financial models and reports.ResponsibilitiesPrepares and reviews accurate and timely financial and business-related analyses, research, and forecastsCompiles and prepares accurate and timely reports. Able to convey information in a meaningful way utilizing tables, graphs and chartsCollects and synthesizes information from various areas across the company, builds models to provide insight to underlying business dynamics, creates written presentations and participates in business reviewsDevelops and prepares various analytical and statistical reports in support of the business activitiesDevelops, interprets, analyzes and implements complex business strategiesProvides support to the annual budgeting and periodic forecasting of the assigned business area including variance analysis and sensitivity testingLeads special financial and business-related studies as needed to support project objectivesConducts analysis of alternatives, recommendations and research from multiple sourcesSupports functional and cross functional projects and is able to implement process improvements within functional areaAble to articulate impact of analysis, modeling, business decision support on key financial measures (ie Gross Profit, Operating Margin, DOH, DSO, etc.)Conceptualizes, completes and presents analysis in support of management decisions, forecasts and initiatives within the departmentActs as an internal consultant and interacts with appropriate levels of managementPerforms other duties as assignedSkillsBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field3-5 years FP&A experience requiredExpresses ideas and information in a clear and concise manner; tailors message to fit the interests and needs of the audience.
