[Remote] FINANCE MANAGER – CONTENT FP&A

They are seeking a Finance Manager – Content FP&A to serve as the dedicated finance partner for a strategically important business unit focused on content, data, and product enablement. This role will own planning, forecasting, and business partnership for the content organization, translating operational activity into clear financial insight that supports smarter investment decisions.ResponsibilitiesOwn budgeting, forecasting, and recurring financial planning for a content-oriented business unit, including headcount, licensing, technology, and operating costsBuild driver-based financial models tied to production capacity, market or category coverage, cost-per-unit economics, and operational throughputPrepare monthly variance analysis and deliver actionable commentary for finance and business leadershipDevelop scenario models to support decisions around market expansion, content sourcing, renewals, licensing, and build-versus-buy trade-offsServe as the primary finance partner to content, product, operations, and leadership stakeholdersTranslate business strategy and operational metrics into financial projections and decision-support analysisSupport commercial and partnership decisions, including licensing renewals, vendor agreements, and data-related arrangementsBuild unit economics frameworks that help leadership evaluate cost efficiency, coverage, productivity, and return on investmentModel the financial impact of AI, automation, and productivity initiatives within content and operational workflowsDesign and maintain reporting for P&L performance, headcount pacing, productivity metrics, and key content-related KPIsIdentify opportunities to improve cost efficiency across content operations, licensing, technology spend, and related workflowsSkillsBachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related quantitative field required5–8 years of progressive FP&A, strategic finance, or finance business partner experienceExperience owning forecasts or P&L support for a content-oriented, product-oriented, SaaS, media, information services, or technology business unitStrong financial modeling skills with the ability to build flexible scenario models in Excel or Google SheetsExperience translating operational data, such as capacity, utilization, production volume, or cost drivers, into financial insightStrong business partnership skills with the ability to present clearly to senior leadershipExperience with enterprise planning tools such as Adaptive, Anaplan, Pigment, Workday Adaptive, or similar platformsCompany OverviewCFO's Domain is a consulting, recruiting firm specializing in accounting and finance professionals.
