Harley-Davidson Motor Company is seeking a Finance & Insurance Consultant to represent HDFS and serve as a trusted business advisor for the H-D dealer network. The role involves developing relationships with dealers, driving financial targets, and maximizing business opportunities through various financial products and services.ResponsibilitiesComplete routine dealer visits, track and review financial sales production, gross profit margin, and assess the needs and opportunities from the dealer’s perspective. Meet with various department personnel to obtain critical information; facilitate debrief meetings with dealership staff, present findings and implement best practices to maximize profit and customer satisfaction. Lead and deliver dealer training as necessaryAnalyze sales data and F&I process to identify opportunities and implement best practices to maximize compliance, premium service, and revenue for the dealer through the presentation and sale of F&I products and servicesDevelop a key understanding of the dealer’s needs as it relates to available products, build a plan for the dealership taking a short- and long-term approachActs as a subject matter expert for the dealers. Has extensive knowledge of available products and services and can mentor dealership personnel through role-play situational training using sales process and menu presentation techniquesIs a resource for the dealer principal, management, and staff to rely on for updated information and trainingAcquire additional region and industry knowledge via continuing education and training opportunities as provided by the CompanyLiaison between all stakeholders, including finance and insurance product providers, various Company departments, the dealership network, and other liaisonsProtection of information and compliance with the law are paramount.
