[Remote] Finance Implementation Consultant I

The Finance Implementation Consultant I will be responsible for the design and implementation of software solutions, specifically focusing on data migration from legacy systems to DataArk, while collaborating with project teams and ensuring client satisfaction.ResponsibilitiesRequirements gathering, workflow analysis, gap analysis, solution design, software configuration, and related documentationParticipate in project scope and discovery: Document the client’s current system requirements and workflowsDemonstrate DataArk functionality and its ability to meet future client requirementsIdentify gaps between client requirements and current software functionalityPropose workflows to address gaps without requiring new developmentConduct initial high-level validation and establish sign-off points for chain of custodyAs a member of the IC Team, assists in managing client expectations by balancing individual client needs with overall Implementation Team/company goalsAssist other Implementation consultants and participate in project pre-kickoff and kickoff sessions with the PMO and client project teamLead or contribute to design and discovery sessions: Complete gap analysis, solution design, and related documentationIdentify and escalate key project issues or risks that may impact costs or timelinesCommunicate client feedback to the Project Manager for integration into project plans and milestonesPartner with the client project team to develop and finalize project scope and sign-off documentsParticipate in pass-off meetings between the Project Manager and Data ModelerCoordinate with extractors to complete initial data mapping between legacy systems and DataArkCollaborate with the Data Modeler to validate data as it is loadedPerform internal validation tasks, including system configuration checks, issue documentation, and resolutionAllocate 90% of available time to billable client initiatives and ensure accurate time trackingFoster a collaborative environment for internal project teams and ensure alignment on client/project expectations: Partner with the Data Modeler to resolve data load and validation issuesProvide client training and develop related materials using a train-the-trainer approachCollaborate with internal and external technical teams as neededContribute to project status meetings and provide updatesSupport client go-lives and provide post-go-live support for 30 daysParticipate in post-go-live 'Lessons Learned' meetingsComplete project tasks on time and within budgeted hoursCommunicate project status to Project Management and internal leadership using established tools and processesSkillsAssociate's degree in healthcare, Business, Accounting, IT, or a related field2–3 years of experience in the Healthcare Revenue Cycle or Finance field (in addition to the degree)Working knowledge of revenue cycle systems and finance, particularly as it relates to functions performed within a traditional hospital or medical provider officeExperience with the implementation and/or support of financial data conversions or interfacesProven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional project team membersPrior experience presenting information in a public forum, including training sessions for client team membersDemonstrated experience working with external clients and third-party vendorsDemonstrated understanding of Software Implementation Project deliverablesProven ability to maintain detailed documentation for project activities, decisions, and outcomesStrong organizational and meeting facilitation skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, etc.)Ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutionsWork effectively with internal teams, clients, and third-party vendorsClear and professional verbal and written communicationSkilled in maintaining accurate, consistent, and detailed project documentationMake sound decisions based on available information and project goalsTake proactive steps to address challenges and meet objectivesGuide and support team members to achieve project successIdentify issues, analyze root causes, and implement solutionsUnderstand and apply technical concepts related to data migration and software implementationBenefitsEmployees may work from our corporate headquarters or work from home.Remote workers will be provided with a company laptop and are responsible for maintaining access to high-speed internet.Company OverviewMediQuant’s initial objective was to provide innovative, dependable revenue cycle technology to the healthcare market.
