TeamHealth is a company focused on healthcare services, and they are seeking a Finance Director to lead the financial operations function for HSSG. This role involves overseeing contract revenue, accounts receivables, and invoicing, while collaborating with leadership to develop strategic financial reporting and manage budget cycles.ResponsibilitiesWorks closely with leadership to ensure timely preparation, analysis, support, and dissemination of financial information relating to: Proformas (Existing and Business Development), Projections, Budgeting, QBR (Quarterly Business Review) reporting, MOR (Monthly Operating Review) reporting, Other cycles requiring financial administration such as facility contract annual resets and contract renewals, Regular communication and problem resolution with operations and leadership teamsConducts analysis and interprets statistical and accounting information to appraise operating results in terms of profitability, performance against budget, and other matters bearing on the fiscal soundness and operating effectiveness of the organizationOversee Rate Change Analysis process for reviewing and approving compensation changesReview the monthly close process to ensure the completeness of data and understanding of financial results from a facility, system, service line and regional standpointManage and participate in special projectsLead team meetings related to specific assigned tasks and initiatives outlining objectives, data requirements, concerns, timeline, and progressJoin work groups and subcommittees to drive performance, engagement, and efficiency of process within the regionParticipate in process improvement initiatives which enhance financial and operational performanceAssist Financial and Operational Leadership in the financial administration of assigned contractsEnsure that the accounting methodology applied is in accordance with accounting concepts, techniques, principles, and GAAPConform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures, and instructionsSkillsB.S./B.A. in Accounting/Finance, or related fieldFive (8-10) years of related experience – healthcare experience a plusStrong managerial skills with the ability to effectively identify problems and alternative solutionsStrong written and verbal communication skills; able to convey complex information clearly and professionallyDemonstrated interpersonal, presentation, and organizational abilitiesSound judgment, critical thinking, and analytical skills to support decision-makingAbility to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt to fast-paced, high-pressure environmentsEffective collaboration in team-oriented settings; able to manage stress and resolve conflict constructivelyProfessional customer service skills, including tact and diplomacy in interactions with internal and external stakeholdersProven ability to handle confidential information with discretionThe ability to read and interpret contracts for financial soundnessIntermediate proficiency in MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPointCPA License PreferredPublic and Industry experience is preferredCompany OverviewTeam Health is a healthcare organization providing administrative support and management.
