Job Overview - Remote Finance Associate (Fund Accounting):
Compensation: $160,000 - $185,000/year + bonus
Schedule: Monday to Friday (Remote)
Atlantic Group is hiring a Remote Finance Associate (Fund Accounting) for our client. This fully remote role manages accounting, reporting, and investor operations across hedge, venture, and private equity funds. You'll prepare financial statements, coordinate audits, and support valuation, structuring, and investor relations. Ideal for professionals with fund accounting or administration experience and a strong interest in crypto and digital assets.
Responsibilities as the Remote Finance Associate:
• Financial Reporting: Prepare financial statements for hedge, private equity, and hybrid funds, ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP.
• Investor Relations: Manage investor onboarding, documentation, and KYC/AML verification while addressing investor inquiries.
• Audit & Tax Support: Coordinate audits, valuations, and tax reporting, including financial statements and partner K-1s.
• Portfolio Management: Maintain portfolio models and support AUM, return, and exposure analysis across traditional and digital assets.
• Legal & Regulatory: Assist the CFO with fund documentation and ensure compliance with SEC and CIMA regulations.
Qualifications for the Remote Finance Associate:
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
• Licensure: CPA required.
• Experience: 4-8 years in hedge fund, fund administration, or private equity accounting, with preferred experience in digital asset or crypto funds.
• Technical Skills: Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills with experience in fund accounting software (Investran, Geneva, or Advent) and automation tools.
• Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of GAAP, fund structures, valuation methods, and investor reporting, with a keen interest in crypto and digital assets.
• Skills & Attributes: Analytical, tech-savvy accounting professional with strong communication and problem-solving skills, thriving in a fast-paced remote environment.
