[Remote] Finance Analyst

Mutual of Omaha Insurance Company is seeking an experienced Finance Analyst to support travel and expense operations, procurement card administration, and supplier maintenance. The role involves delivering accurate customer-focused service while ensuring compliance with policies and internal controls in a fast-paced finance environment.ResponsibilitiesAdminister travel and expense and procurement card processes, including customer support, issue resolution, policy guidance, transaction follow-up, and related card administration activities such as account maintenance, monitoring, updates as well as perform audit to assure compliancy of corporate policiesPrepare and complete assigned reconciliations, research variances, resolve outstanding items, and communicate status and issues with business partners as neededResponsible for vendor setup and maintenance within Accounts Payable, ensuring accurate onboarding and master data managementReviews supplier documentation, maintains vendor records, and resolves data issues to support timely paymentsPartners with internal teams and suppliers to ensure compliance and data accuracySkillsStrong attention to detail, follow-up, and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a high-volume environmentExperience providing customer support and responding professionally to questions related to travel and expenses, procurement card activity, supplier maintenance, reconciliations, or other finance operationsAbility to review transactions for completeness, accuracy, and policy compliance; research discrepancies; solve problems; and escalate concerns appropriatelyEffective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively, partner across business areas, support change, and contribute to a culture that values curiosity, collaboration, and different perspectives2-5+ years of professional experience in accounts payable, travel and expense, procurement card administration, supplier maintenance, reconciliations, or related finance operations, along with being AI-curious and interested in using emerging technologies responsibly to streamline and improve processes, drive efficiency, and enhance customer experienceYou promote a collaborative culture, value different ideas and opinions, and listen courageously, remaining curious in all that you doAble to work at our office located in Omaha, NE, in a hybrid environmentAssociate's or bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Business, or equivalent experience in a finance or operations roleExperience with travel and expense systems, procurement card programs, supplier maintenance, account reconciliations, and financial systems such as PeopleSoftStrong knowledge of audit, compliance, and internal controls, with intermediate Excel skills for reporting, data analysis, and issue trackingBenefitsAnnual bonus opportunity401(k) plan with a 2% company contribution and 6% company matchWork-life balance with vacation, personal time and paid holidaysCompany OverviewMutual Of Omaha is a mutual insurance and financial services company helping clients achieve their financial goals.
