[Remote] Field Service Engineer

Sensata Technologies, through its subsidiary Dynapower, is seeking Field Service Engineers to support clean energy and industrial systems. The role involves commissioning, maintaining, and repairing advanced power conversion and generation equipment while ensuring efficient system performance at customer sites across the U.S.ResponsibilitiesDevelops services and calibrates test equipment by making regular performance inspections, planning preventative maintenance and repairing defective equipment or systemsPerforms repairs and preventative actions on equipment within the productionDevelops the deployment of new equipmentMaintains preventive actions with a real risk of equipment or infrastructure problemsProposes correction and continuous improvement events for the performance of production equipmentSupports in diagnostic tasks and repair of various production equipment, following the best safety practices and minimizing downtime due to equipment breakdownTimely informs the supervisor and relevant staff about maintenance issues related to the technological equipment during unplanned repairsSkillsRelevant work experience or knowledge of the roleMust be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demandsStrong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve resultsHolds self-accountable to achieving goals and standardsProficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)Eligibility to obtain authorization under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR)Company OverviewSensata Technologies engages in the design, manufacture, and distribution of sensors and electronic controls.
