They are seeking a Field Sales Trainer to develop and deliver educational materials for their sales team, aiming to improve engagement and retention through effective training programs.ResponsibilitiesWorks with Subject Matter Experts to deliver highly engaging and interactive sales training programs across various media, including in person and virtual/digital methods of engagementResponsible for the execution of the sales employee onboarding program, working with sales and corporate stakeholders to ensure on time execution and quality standards of all onboarding components are metDelivers educational classes and programs in an in-person or virtual atmosphereAssesses aptitude and provides instant feedback and overall coaching feedback to sales representatives and managersEmploys best-in-class adult learning facilitation and engagement strategies to ensure comprehension and retention of educational materials and skillsCollaborates with various stakeholders from instructional design, field sales, sales operations, marketing, product management, and engineering to craft thoughtful and effective educational content in alignment with the Company's go-to-market and sales strategiesSkillsBachelor's degree (B.A.) in business, education, or communications is preferred, combined with one or more years of experience working in a corporate or academic education capacityWillingness to travel for up to 5 days per monthHighly literate in all aspects of business technology with in-depth knowledge of MS office products (Windows, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint), virtual training/education platforms, and business intelligence systems (Microsoft BI preferred)Exceptional knowledge of producing live events using web-based presentation platforms (Teams, Zoom) as a means to collaborate and deliver highly effective virtual trainingExperience using audio/visual production equipmentExceptional project management skills; ability to plan and sequence work for oneself and other content/design contributorsHighly engaging oral and written communication skillsSuperior ability to facilitate interactive engagements with learners and peersSuperior ability to present and impart knowledge with groups of all sizesHighly collaborative; gains alignment across stakeholders to achieve a common goal or visionFamiliarity teaching and/or executing a consultative sales processSelf-motivated with the ability to inspire excitement and passion in othersCommitted to continuously improving one's skills and staying current with best practices in the field of adult and sales educationPast sales experience in the MRO industryBenefits401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceHealth insurancePaid time offReferral programCompany OverviewLawson Products is an industrial distributor of maintenance and repair products.
