[Remote] Field Engineer

They are seeking a Field Engineer to support project execution, quality control, and collaboration on large-scale construction projects in the renewable energy sector.ResponsibilitiesSupport daily construction operations to ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to quality standardsCoordinate with Trade Superintendents, subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to keep work moving efficientlyTrack daily production quantities, equipment usage, and cost data to support accurate reporting and forecastingAssist with short-interval planning (two-week lookahead) and daily Plan of the Day executionHelp enforce Blattner’s zero life-altering events safety culture on siteSupport QA/QC inspections, documentation, and compliance with project Quality PlansAssist with environmental compliance activities including SWPPP, erosion control, and permit requirementsSupport engineering reviews, RFIs, as-builts, and job book documentationAssist with subcontractor progress tracking, pay applications, and change documentationMonitor job costs against estimates and escalate risks or variances earlyPartner closely with Superintendents, Project Construction Coordinators, and Site Managers to support field leadershipBuild strong working relationships with clients, landowners, utilities, and internal teamsParticipate in structured onboarding, mentorship, and ongoing development opportunitiesSkillsAssociate or bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)Interest in renewable energy or large-scale construction projectsWillingness to travel and work project-based assignments (typical projects range 6–18 months)Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced field environmentA team-first mindset with a commitment to safety, integrity, and continuous improvementBenefitsTravel supportPer diemSupport and development, including mentorship and clear performance feedbackCompetitive pay and benefitsCompany OverviewBlattner is an industry renewable energy infrastructure solutions provider to the renewable energy industry.
