They are seeking a Field Business Development Representative to build relationships and represent KDS at trade shows, while also engaging with potential clients through LinkedIn and video outreach.ResponsibilitiesAttend ~2 trade shows per month nationwide — working the floor, building relationships, handing out cards, and starting real conversationsBuild and maintain an active, credible LinkedIn presence to keep KDS top of mindRun personalized video outreach — Loom-style messages, LinkedIn video, and Teams callsCapture every meaningful conversation in HubSpot the same day, with context, so leads arrive warm — then route them to the inbound team for follow-upBetween shows: follow up, cold call, and re-engage the contacts you’ve madeKeep meticulous CRM data — every conversation and contact logged accurately and same-daySkills2+ years of B2B sales or business development experience (3+ preferred), ideally outbound or field-facingA natural extrovert who genuinely loves meeting people and working a room in personLoves being on camera — confident with video prospecting and comfortable posting on LinkedInGenuinely excited (not just willing) to travel to ~2 trade shows per monthRelentless and resilient — you treat rejection as fuel, and you're hungry to bring in new businessDisciplined with CRM logging — you know a lead not logged is a lead lostFamiliar with and eager to learn AI tools as a daily productivity multiplierExperience selling 3PL, warehousing, fulfillment, or distribution servicesFamiliarity with the CPG, apparel, beauty, or subscription-box spaceAn existing network in consumer brands, retail, or logisticsPrior trade show / event-based selling experienceA track record of building a following or brand presence on LinkedInHands-on experience with HubSpot, Apollo, or LinkedIn Sales NavigatorBenefitsCommissionBonusesFully remote (U.S.-based)Travel: ~2 trade shows per month, nationwide, plus occasional warehouse/team visitsCompany OverviewKomar Distribution Services offers logistics solutions for businesses.
