The role involves supporting the sales organization and customers in Texas, Colorado, and Kansas by providing product expertise, technical support, and training to ensure successful application and implementation of their products.ResponsibilitiesSupport the Sales organization with customer discussions on existing products through product presentations, demonstrations, trials, application studies/demos as well as troubleshooting and cGMP manufacturing support for the Fluid Management Technologies portfolio which consists mainly of 2D & 3D Storage solutions, mixing systems, transfers and connections, aseptic transfer systems, and freeze and thaw technologiesSupport new products through close collaboration with beta site testing, product demonstrations/discussions and information gatheringSupport Sales in the customer process, URS analysis & technical response, and lead customer evaluations to help position products in line with the application requirementsStrategize with assigned Account Managers to generate value-adding activities according to customer and business needAssist the Company by occasionally supporting the training of other field Application Specialists and the Sales organization on assigned technologies and/or processesProvide technical qualifications of sales opportunities to ensure appropriate positioning of technology within the customer applicationEnsure training of customers on new technologies and support initial start-up operations as well as ensure/assist in internal training opportunities for self and colleaguesSupport regional marketing initiativesSupport Quality Department in the quality complaint process by troubleshooting and analyzing customers processes for better investigation and resolutionSupport the development of strong relationships with accounts within the assigned sales territoryReport on a competitorâs product implementation & presence within the territory by feedback to the Application Services and Product Management TeamMonthly report on territory activity for managementOccasional overnight travel will be required to support customers / sales, to attend organizational meetings and trainings will be required (~50%).
