[Remote] Fertility Benefit Design Manager

The Fertility Benefit Design Manager will play a crucial role in supporting the company's growth by designing and delivering tailored fertility benefits for clients, collaborating with various teams to ensure exceptional service and operational feasibility. Responsibilities • Support benefit program design by tailoring Maven’s offerings to address client-specific needs and market benchmarks • Partner with Sales and Marketing to develop and refine pitch materials, train sales teams on benefit programs, and act as a subject matter expert (SME) both behind-the-scenes and in client meetings • Participate in prospective client and broker/consultant meetings, articulating Maven’s value proposition and responding to benefit-related technical questions • Respond to technical and complex benefit design questions during RFPs and follow-up discussions, including compliance-related topics, ensuring Maven’s offerings are clearly and accurately represented • Support new client implementations by advising on plan design decisions, documenting benefit requirements, and ensuring accurate setup and member communication • Provide benefit design support for Maven’s fertility benefits clients, serving as a subject matter expert for existing clients by partnering with Maven’s Client Success team to attend QBRs, address ad hoc requests for benefit analyses, and ensure ongoing alignment of program design with client goals • Provide continuous feedback to Product and Product Marketing teams to inform our benefit program roadmap and refine Maven’s differentiated value story Skills • 4–5 years of experience in benefit design, health & benefits consulting, or implementation at a health plan, TPA, or fertility benefit vendor • A strong understanding of fertility and family-building benefit design, including coverage models, eligibility, compliance, funding approaches, and ecosystem integration • Client-facing experience, with the ability to communicate complex benefit concepts clearly to diverse audiences • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality, ensuring that all deliverables—from client presentations to internal documentation—are accurate, polished, and error-free from start to finish • A collaborative working style, with curiosity about the evolving fertility and family-building benefits landscape • This role requires active work authorization in the US Benefits • Maven for Mavens: access to the full platform and specialists, including care for mental health, reproductive health, family planning and pediatrics. • Whole-self care through wellness partnerships • Hybrid work, in office meals, and work together days • 16 weeks 100% paid parental leave and new parent stipend (for Mavens who've been with us for 1 year+) • Annual professional development stipend and access to a personal career coach through Maven for Mavens • 401K matching for US-based employees, with immediate vesting Company Overview • Maven is a digital health platform that works with health plans and employers to offer virtual services for women’s and family health.
