They are seeking an experienced Federal Account Executive to drive revenue growth by managing existing accounts and acquiring new business through strategic, needs-based relationship sales.ResponsibilitiesDrive top-line revenue through growth of an existing Federal enterprise account baseSell Skillsoft Content, Services, and Platform solutions directly to Federal decision makersInfluence existing clients at the senior leadership level and win by building relationships across different lines of the account offering solutions to what they are trying to solve forPartner with related sales, customer success managers, marketing, and support resources in the successful advancement of critical opportunitiesBe responsible for preparing and delivering executive presentations with research, data, agendas and a tailored presentation coupled with impeccable follow-upCreate measurable and defined business goals with timelines, (related to revenue and growth of whitespace)Provide management, feedback and recommendations on pipeline health, risk, opportunity, and progressSkills5+ years of direct sales experience, selling SaaS, enterprise software to VP, SVP, and C-Level Executives with outstanding quota attainment historyFederal software sales experience supporting FedRAMP with a solid understanding of selling into the Fed GovtSolid understanding of Salesforce and MEDDPICCAbility to exceed sales targets, a keen understanding of the steps involved in a sales cycle and ability to leverage each stage to advance the saleSkilled at demonstrating solutions and speaking the language of corporate buyers and respectfully challenging their thinking and able to negotiate effectively based on value and time to closeAbility to collaborate and leverage subject matter expertise in a matrixed sales environmentBe self-motivated, hungry and proficient in operating with a sense of urgency and demonstrate a positive, winning attitudeHistory of understanding complex client requirements to clearly articulate the company's offerings to develop solutions to meet those requirementsWillingness to take ownership and solve problems with an agile mindsetExperience in the learning, human capital, human capital technology space is preferredBenefitsEnterprise benefits including but not limited to: medical, dental, vision, and paid time off.Company OverviewSkillsoft provides online learning and e-learning solutions for global enterprises, SMEs, governments and educational institutions.
