The Lead Project Engineer will be responsible for designing and implementing innovative process automation solutions tailored to customer needs, leveraging both traditional and modern technologies.ResponsibilitiesEngage with customers to design and develop solutions that deliver value and innovation to their business in the form of productivity / capacity increase or quality improvementWork with customers to innovate, architect, and design the correct solution to their specific challenges that typically focus on efficiency, streamlined processes, and quality improvementLook outside the traditional box of normal solutions and apply new approaches and technologies to the solution we deliverKnow how to implement the traditional technologies of PLC and SCADA but are open to leveraging the power of Industry 4.0 (I4.0 IIOT) and IT technologies to deliver exceptional applicationsDevelop, test, and deploy these applications independently and with a teamDevelop operator interface solutions for HMI or other applications that streamline equipment operationsDevelop control logic in a PLC or other control platforms for a wide variety of industries and processesSkillsAbility to work independently and collaborate with others on multiple projectsProficient in utilizing AutoCAD ElectricalFeel comfortable talking to engineers, IT, and operations and can bridge the gap between themThis position can be local or remote but requires project-related travel to customer locationsExperience programming a range of PLC and SCADA systems.
