Remote Event Experience Manager
Our client, a distinguished entity in the hospitality and tourism sector, is seeking an imaginative and highly organized Remote Event Experience Manager. This is a completely remote position, allowing you to craft unforgettable events from anywhere in the US. You will be responsible for conceptualizing, planning, and executing a wide array of virtual and hybrid events, ensuring seamless delivery and exceptional guest satisfaction. Your expertise will be vital in shaping innovative event strategies that align with our client's brand and objectives.
Primary Responsibilities:
Conceptualize, plan, and manage all aspects of virtual and hybrid events, from initial ideation to post-event analysis. Develop creative event themes, engaging content, and unique attendee experiences tailored for online and blended platforms. Collaborate with marketing, sales, and operations teams to define event goals, target audiences, and key performance indicators (KPIs). Source and manage relationships with virtual event platforms, technology providers, AV companies, and other vendors. Oversee event budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to financial guidelines. Develop detailed event project plans, timelines, and run-of-show documents. Manage speaker coordination, content development, and virtual engagement strategies. Create compelling virtual environments and interactive elements to enhance attendee participation. Coordinate with external partners and sponsors to ensure their objectives are met. Monitor event execution in real-time, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure a smooth participant experience. Conduct post-event evaluations, gather feedback, and prepare comprehensive reports on event success and lessons learned. Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in virtual and hybrid event management. Contribute to the overall event strategy and innovation pipeline.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Event Management, Marketing, Communications, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in event planning and management, with a strong emphasis on virtual and hybrid events. Proven success in designing and executing engaging online and blended event experiences. Excellent understanding of virtual event platforms and technologies (e.g., Zoom Events, Hopin, Cvent, Bizzabo). Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously. Exceptional creativity, organizational skills, and attention to detail. Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills. Budget management experience and financial acumen. Ability to work independently, proactively, and effectively in a remote environment. Experience in the hospitality or tourism industry is a plus. Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Flexibility to work non-traditional hours as required by event schedules.
