We are seeking an experienced ETL QA Test Engineer to join our team, responsible for ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of data across our data warehouse. As a key member of our data testing team, you will develop, maintain, and execute test cases to validate data integrity and identify discrepancies.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop, maintain, and execute test cases to validate data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across different data layers
Test ETL processes to ensure correct data extraction, transformation, and loading from source to target systems, adhering to business rules
Perform source-to-target data validation to ensure data integrity and identify discrepancies or data quality issues
Develop automated data validation scripts using SQL, Python, or testing frameworks to streamline testing efforts
Conduct testing in cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS Redshift, Google BigQuery, Snowflake) to ensure performance and scalability
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve data quality issues

Requirements:

8+ years of experience in QA, with 5+ years of experience in data testing
Strong understanding of ETL processes and data testing methodologies
Experience with scripting languages (e.g., SQL, Python) and testing frameworks
Familiarity with ETL testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Informatica, Talend, dbt)
Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker)
