Title: Estimator (Mission Critical / Data Centers) Location: REMOTE but HQ is in Atlanta (plus offices in Chicago & Dallas) Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 + 25% Bonus Founded in 2008 we are a rapidly growing 400 employee data center developer & operator that has continued to scale aggressively across construction, development & mission critical facilities management. We specialize in delivering high reliability data center campuses, build to suit hyperscale environments, and mission critical infrastructure solutions for enterprise, cloud, federal, and AI driven clients. Our growth over the past several years has been fueled by rising demand for hyperscale capacity, lifecycle services, and turnkey mission critical construction. For this Estimator position you will lead all cost modeling, takeoffs & pricing efforts for complex data center construction projects, ensuring accurate, competitive, and timely estimates across MEP heavy, mission critical scopes. What You Will Be Doing • Develop detailed conceptual & hard estimates for ground up and expansion data center projects w/ strong focus on MEP systems and mission critical infrastructure • Analyze drawings, specifications & RFP documents to prepare accurate quantity takeoffs, cost breakdowns & risk assessments • Collaborate w/ PMs, Preconstruction teams, engineers & subcontractors to validate scope, pricing & constructability • Build and maintain cost databases, benchmarking models & historical pricing for data center components and systems • Support proposal development, value engineering options & competitive bid strategies for hyperscale and enterprise clients What You Need for this Position • 5+ years of estimating experience specifically within data centers, mission critical facilities, or MEP intensive commercial construction • Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems, including UPS, generators, switchgear, cooling systems & high density power distribution • Proficiency w/ estimating software (i.e. BuildingConnected, Bluebeam, AccuBid) & advanced Excel modeling • Ability to interpret complex construction documents, one lines, equipment schedules & engineering drawings • Strong communication skills w/ ability to interface confidently w/ internal teams, subcontractors & clients in a remote environment What's In It for You Full Benefits Package (Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, LTD/STD, 401k w/ match) and more!
