The eSource Developer III will design and build electronic source documents, ensuring quality and usability while mentoring team members and driving efficient workflows.ResponsibilitiesProgram and review logic throughout the build process to confirm that specifications and requirements are suitable for users’ needsCreate, modify, and maintain electronic source documents based on protocol specifications or provided requirementsReview, recommend, implement, and utilize coding standards to maintain consistent workflow across teamReference protocol and/or other documentation to ensure expectations are metTrain and mentor new eSource Development team members including tracking training progress, training new team members on product functionality, use, and design, and shadowing new team member on new study buildsApply version control specifications to maintain document integrity and historical dataCommunicate with other teams to ensure consistency within and across studiesMaintain client requests and updates in fast paced, quality-checked environmentCreate printable paper source forms for user convenience, as neededProvide technical assistance with problem solving for ticketsWork with Project Management and Study Build in drafting, reviewing, approving, and updating applicable project build and change control timelinesOther duties as assignedSkillsBachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experienceAt least five years in a full-time programming roleStrong programming skills (JavaScript/C#) and ability to code requiredAbility to conceptualize large study builds and anticipate programming/coding challengesAbility to organize, instruct and supervise staff, while promoting group effort in a matrix environmentWorking knowledge of one or more Agile methodologies (i.e. TDD, SCRUM, or R-SCRUM)Ability to identify needs and issues, track progress, and follow through on actions to meet customer satisfactionAbility to communicate needs, issues, impacts, and corrective actions to varying levels of corporate personnel and customer leadership personnelDemonstrated ability to manage conflicts and resolve problems effectivelyExcellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills; organizational skills and great attention to detail are requiredKnowledge of complex scientific/office procedures and techniques relating to clinical research and patient care to accurately design source documents used to conduct clinical trialsCompany OverviewClinical Ink develops electronic documents recording software for recording source data on mobile devices during clinical trials.
