[Remote] Epidemiologist, Inflammation, Real-World Evidence (FSP Sponsor-Dedicated)

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. IQVIA is seeking an accomplished epidemiology leader to drive the design and execution of innovative real-world evidence (RWE) strategies for a leading sponsor organization. In this role, you’ll work closely with one sponsor, gaining deep knowledge of their therapies while leveraging IQVIA’s global expertise. Responsibilities • Lead execution of studies to generate actionable RWE within agreed timelines, budgets, and quality standards • Design and drive development of study protocols, statistical analysis plans, and study reports addressing priority methodological questions • Conduct feasibility and assessment of fit-for-purpose real-world data (RWD) sources (claims, EHR, registries) to enable timely execution of RWE initiatives • Construct cohorts, validate key variables, and guide implementation of descriptive and comparative analyses using RWD for complex research questions • Build strong partnerships with internal teams, external vendors, and sponsor stakeholders to ensure alignment and delivery of strategic objectives Skills • Accomplished epidemiology leader • Experience in designing and executing innovative real-world evidence (RWE) strategies • Ability to lead execution of studies to generate actionable RWE within agreed timelines, budgets, and quality standards • Experience in designing and driving development of study protocols, statistical analysis plans, and study reports • Ability to conduct feasibility and assessment of fit-for-purpose real-world data (RWD) sources (claims, EHR, registries) • Experience in constructing cohorts, validating key variables, and guiding implementation of descriptive and comparative analyses using RWD • Ability to build strong partnerships with internal teams, external vendors, and sponsor stakeholders Benefits • Incentive plans • Bonuses • Health and welfare • Other benefits Company Overview • IQVIA provides analytics, compliance, and management solutions to the life sciences industry.
