[Remote] Epicor Implementation Consultant - Financials

They are seeking an experienced Epicor Kinetic Financial Implementation Specialist to lead the configuration, deployment, and optimization of Epicor Kinetic financial modules, focusing on Cost Accounting and Avalara tax integration.ResponsibilitiesLead or actively participate in all phases of the Epicor Kinetic Financial Management implementation lifecycle, including requirements gathering, system design, configuration, testing, training, and post-go-live supportServe as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the Avalara module integration within Epicor Kinetic (Epicor Tax Connect)Configure and test complex tax scenarios, including Sales & Use Tax, VAT, GST, and related compliance rules within Avalara/EpicorEnsure accurate tax code mapping, address validation, and nexus trackingManage the setup and process for Exemption Certificate Management (ECM) to maintain audit readinessCollaborate with the finance team to automate tax reporting and filing processes (e.g., Avalara Returns)Configure and manage core financial modules, including General Ledger (GL) and Chart of Accounts design/mapping, Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR), Cost Accounting, including standard costing, job costing, WIP tracking, inventory valuation, and variance analysis within a manufacturing environment, Fixed Assets (FA) and Multi-Company/Inter-company transactions, Financial Reporting (e.g., Financial Report Designer) and ConsolidationsAnalyze current financial business processes, identify gaps, and design future-state processes leveraging Epicor Kinetic best practices and featuresDevelop comprehensive documentation and conduct training for end-users and key stakeholders in the Finance and Accounting departmentsSkillsProven experience in implementing, configuring, and supporting Epicor Kinetic (or Epicor 9, 10+) Financial Management modulesStrong expertise in Cost Accounting, including standard costing, job costing, WIP, inventory valuation, and variance analysis within manufacturing environmentsExperience supporting multi-company and multi-entity environments, including intercompany transactions, consolidations, and multi-site manufacturing operationsHands-on experience with the Avalara (AvaTax) integration/module within an ERP system, preferably Epicor is a plusFamiliarity with other Epicor Financial tools like Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) is a plusStrong understanding of ERP data structures and experience with data migration related to financial dataDeep knowledge of Corporate Accounting and Finance principles (e.g., GAAP/IFRS)Expertise in transactional tax compliance, including Sales and Use Tax, VAT, and/or GSTIn-depth understanding of tax nexus rules, taxability determination, and exemption certificate requirementsAbility to translate complex tax and accounting requirements into functional ERP system configurationsExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skillsAbility to work effectively with both technical IT teams and non-technical business users (Accountants, Controllers)Bachelor's degree in Accounting or FinanceCPA, CMA, or relevant Epicor/Avalara certification is highly desirableBenefitsFully remote position in Canada or USA (no relocation required).Competitive salary, based on experience.Comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, disability, and life insurance.Opportunities for career growth and ongoing training.Company OverviewTECCWEB is an Epicor Services Partner offering solutions for implementing EPICOR Software for your corporate needs.
