[Remote] Epic Resolute Charge Router Analyst (HB/PB)

Aberdeen Advisors LLC is seeking an Epic Resolute Charge Router Analyst to support the build, configuration, testing, and implementation of the Epic Resolute Charge Router. This role involves collaborating with IT and revenue cycle teams to optimize charge routing workflows and ensure accurate billing operations.ResponsibilitiesDesigning, building, and configuring the Epic Charge Router across HB and/or PB based on documented requirementsTranslating revenue cycle and billing requirements into functional and technical design specificationsBuilding and maintaining charge router rules, mappings, and filters; migrating changes from testing to production environmentsSupporting related Resolute build including reimbursement contracts, general ledger, and third-party claim scrubber integrationDeveloping and maintaining system process documentationUnderstanding clinical and revenue cycle workflows that feed charge capture and routingAnalyzing charge router error work queues to identify root causes, define process changes, and develop future-state workflowsCollaborating with end users to translate billing needs into system build requirementsDeveloping and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate charge routing logicPerforming unit, system, and integration testing, including regression testing across instancesProviding production support and troubleshooting charge router and Resolute billing issuesActing as a primary support contact for charge routing across multiple instances and Community Connect sites as neededMonitoring system functionality and resolving issues that ariseDeveloping and running reports to track charge router throughput, error volumes, and revenue impactAnalyzing data to identify opportunities to improve charge accuracy and reduce manual reworkCollaborating with revenue cycle, IT, and other Epic analystsCommunicating application changes, enhancements, and procedures to stakeholdersMaintaining regular communication with Epic representatives and communicating project statusSkillsEpic Certification: Active/current Epic certification in Resolute Hospital Billing (HB) or Resolute Professional Billing (PB) (one or both acceptable)Charge Router Experience: Direct, hands-on experience with Epic Charge Router (Charge Router certification a strong plus)Epic Application Experience: 2+ years of experience with Epic Resolute applicationsSystem Build & Configuration Experience: Proven experience building and configuring Epic billing systemsWorkflow Analysis & Optimization: Ability to understand and analyze complex revenue cycle workflowsCommunication & Collaboration: Strong communication and interpersonal skillsAnalytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze problems and identify solutions independently in a fast-moving consulting environmentTechnical Proficiency: Proficiency with relevant software, such as Microsoft Office SuiteCompany OverviewHeadquartered in Chicago, with satellite offices in India and Mexico, Aberdeen Advisors LLC is a boutique digital consultancy providing innovative products and services.
