The role involves designing, building, implementing, and supporting the Epic Resolute Professional Billing application while ensuring compliance and efficiency in professional billing workflows.ResponsibilitiesAnalyzing current state business workflows and designing improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce claim denialsCoordinate and execute testing plans for system upgrades and patchesWorking with revenue cycle teams, IT staff, and clinical departments to align system functionality with business needsPerforming system upgrades, testing, and maintenance to ensure compliance with healthcare regulationsCoordinate with the Epic Training Team to maintain and update user education materialFollow organizational Application Change Management policies and processesStay up-to-date on changes in healthcare regulations and ensure complianceDevelop and maintain policies and procedures to address regulatory requirementsSkillsBachelor's Degree required or minimum 4 years of Revenue Cycle experienceMinimum of 3 years of experience in healthcare IT management, with a focus on Professional BillingStrong understanding of Epic EHR functionality, particularly revenue cycle modules like Epic Resolute Professional BillingMinimum of 1 Epic certification is required in Epic Resolute modulesRequires excellent oral and written communication skillsRequires strong problem-solving and analytic skillsRequires competence with MS-Office productsPreferred candidate holds Epic certification in Resolute Professional Billing AdministrationPreferred candidate holds certification in Resolute Professional Billing ClaimsFamiliarity with healthcare financial operations and regulatory complianceAbility to apply and tailor industry best practices to meet client needsCompany OverviewUofL Health provides urgent and primary care services.
