[Remote] Epic Report Writer

Meduvi is seeking a detail-oriented Epic Report Writer to architect solutions for extracts from Epic, supporting clinical, operational, and financial decision-making across hospital organizations. This role involves consulting with hospital leadership on Epic extracts and ensuring accurate data reporting.ResponsibilitiesArchitect, design, develop, test, and deploy extracts using Epic reporting tools (Reporting Workbench, Radar Dashboards, SlicerDicer, BI tools such as Cogito/Clarity, Caboodle)Write and optimize SQL queries against Clarity/Caboodle databasesGather requirements from clinical and operational stakeholders and translate them into functional extract specificationsValidate extract accuracy through testing and data validation against source systemsTroubleshoot and resolve issues with existing extractsDocument extract logic, data definitions, and build specificationsMaintain and update extracts in response to workflow, regulatory, or system changesProvide training and support to end usersCollaborate with Epic application teams, analysts, IT staff and Hospital Operations on data and reporting initiativesSkillsBachelor's degree in Health Informatics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)2+ years of experience building extracts in EpicProficiency in SQL and relational database conceptsWorking knowledge of Clarity and/or Caboodle data modelsDemonstrated experience supporting or leading data integration efforts between Epic and external platforms (data lakes, data warehouses, third-party analytics tools) such as knowledge of custom Chronicles extracts and INI + Item NumbersStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication skills for working with non-technical stakeholdersBenefitsPlus bonus and benefitsCompany OverviewMeduvi is a healthcare staffing firm that connects people to jobs at healthcare, IT, and analytics companies.
