[Remote] Epic Applications Analyst, Senior - Beacon/Cellular Therapy Focus

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. VCU Health is seeking a Senior Epic Applications Analyst with a focus on Beacon and Cellular Therapy. The role involves managing and performing tasks related to the analysis, design, implementation, and support of the organization's IT resources, particularly in enhancing oncology, research, and transplant care through technology.ResponsibilitiesMaintain and develop new documentation tools such as flow sheet, smart sets, treatment plans, therapy plans, and notesAnalyze complex business problems and design technology, integration, and workflow solutionsIdentify system gaps and provide technical expertise to inform functional specificationsCollaborate closely with internal stakeholdersActively contribute to technical discussions, offering insights that improve solutionsSkillsMust be certified in Epic module(s) appropriate to area of responsibility as determined by leadership if applicableEach project and exam as determined for the specific roles must be passed within three (3) attemptsSuccessful Epic certification(s) completion required within 60 days of final trainingMaintain required Epic certification for appropriate roleSix to eight years of related experienceBachelor's degree or equivalent combination of related education and experiencePrevious Epic experience in the training, build, and/or support of the Epic systems electronic health record suite preferredHealthcare experience desiredBenefitsThis position allows for Remote work to allow a flexible work environmentCompany OverviewVCU Medical Center is a school.
