This role involves supporting Epic applications by analyzing workflows, configuring the system, and collaborating with end-users to ensure effective implementation and maintenance of the EMR system.ResponsibilitiesAnalyzes business and user requirements and collaborate with teams to design and build technology or process solutions which automate or improve the EMR system to support business strategiesSupports the Epic application by guiding the solution design, training resources, and supporting processes to ensure the successful engagement and sustainment of the solution while considering associated workflows and how the application(s) integrate with the clinical environmentsCommunicates effectively with coworkers, users, vendors, and leadership by actively listening, respectful correspondence and discussions and timely follow upProduces quality deliverables throughout the change lifecycle, demonstrated by design session deliverables, knowledgeable build activities, essential testing functions, and comprehensive implementation methodologySupports and maintains the EMR by working with the IT Helpdesk and vendor in analyzing current issues and resolving through short term corrective action, root cause analysis, permanent corrective action processWorks with Reporting team to ensure proper system design to facilitate data capture.
