Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. QuadMed is looking for a Clinical Epic Application Analyst to join their team. This role involves supporting Epic applications by analyzing workflows, configuring the system, and collaborating with end-users to ensure effective implementation and maintenance of the EMR system.ResponsibilitiesAnalyzes business and user requirements and collaborate with teams to design and build technology or process solutions which automate or improve the EMR system to support business strategiesSupports the Epic application by guiding the solution design, training resources, and supporting processes to ensure the successful engagement and sustainment of the solution while considering associated workflows and how the application(s) integrate with the clinical environmentsCommunicates effectively with coworkers, users, vendors, and leadership by actively listening, respectful correspondence and discussions and timely follow upProduces quality deliverables throughout the change lifecycle, demonstrated by design session deliverables, knowledgeable build activities, essential testing functions, and comprehensive implementation methodologySupports and maintains the EMR by working with the IT Helpdesk and vendor in analyzing current issues and resolving through short term corrective action, root cause analysis, permanent corrective action processWorks with Reporting team to ensure proper system design to facilitate data capture. (i.e., Informatics / Data Integrity)Supports EMR related projects in the role of system subject matter expert regarding the system in questionAssists in change management related to systems including reviewing release notes, coordinating system upgrades, and working with the Training DepartmentPromotes teamwork, stewardship, and accountability throughout the departmentParticipates in vendor demos, site visits, and system health checksRecommends and designs technology solutions to business problemsUtilizes online resources to learn about new functionality; how to implement/troubleshoot functionalityParticipates in meetings with vendors to troubleshoot Electronic Health Record issues and to gather requirements/recommendations for functionalityParticipates in or leads projects with minimal direction from CS Lead, Sr. CS Analyst or OperationsCreates, reviews, and executes system wide test plansEvaluates new releases of the Electronic Health Record System and recommends which new features to implementTests new releases of the system, this includes pre and post upgrade testing and informing about system changesAbility to work independently with minimal supervision, multitask, prioritize, adapt to change, attention to detailContinuously helps to improve the organization’s products and processesTroubleshoot problems and address questions from users and provide on-call support on a rotating basisDocument build specifications, team processes and clinic workflowsSkillsBachelor's degree preferredMinimum three (3) years' experience in IT in a healthcare organization requiredMinimum four (4) years' experience as an Analyst in Epic applications requiredMust be certified in at least one of the following Epic applications: EpicCare Ambulatory, MyChartExperience with design, build and configuration of an EMR environmentExperience with design, build and configuration of Epic applicationsExperience with appointment scheduling and registration workflows in a healthcare settingBroad knowledge of and experience with practice management applications and their interdependenciesExperience with multi-facility design, planning and coordination of IS systemsDemonstrated knowledge of healthcare businessGeneral knowledge of project managementDemonstrated business analysis skills and experienceStrong time management skills and ability to work on multiple projects at onceExcellent written and verbal communication skills across multiple disciplinesDemonstrated customer service and collaboration skills working with end usersProven ability to work effectively with diverse populations and a demonstrated commitment to fostering inclusionStrong problem-solving skillsSelf-motivated with the ability to work both independently as well as with a teamClinic back-office workflow experience preferredClinic front office workflow experience preferredBenefitsComprehensive benefits for eligible employees including medical, prescription, dental and vision insurance401(k) retirement savingsPaid time offHolidaysCompany OverviewQuad is a marketing agency that helps brands reimagine their marketing to be streamlined and flexible.
