Key Responsibilities As a Remote Co‑Op Engineer, you will be placed on one of several dynamic software engineering groups based on project demand and your personal interests. Across all teams, you will: Collaborate with senior engineers to design, develop, test, and deploy software solutions that improve airline operations, customer experience, or internal tooling. Participate in daily stand‑ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives using Agile and Scrum methodologies. Essential Qualifications (Minimum Requirements) Enrolled in a full‑time undergraduate program with at least two years completed and a minimum GPA of 2.5. Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical/Systems Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, Cybersecurity, Business Management, or a closely related field. Availability to work full‑time (40 hours/week) for two consecutive 16‑week semesters (Spring 2024 and Fall 2024) with a flexible hybrid schedule (remote + optional onsite days). Strong analytical mindset, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and a proactive work ethic. Passion for solving complex problems, willingness to invest time and effort to overcome obstacles, and a solid understanding of software development lifecycle concepts. Basic familiarity with cloud concepts, operating system fundamentals, and/or hardware maintenance. Eligibility to work in the United States (U.S. citizenship, permanent residency, or valid work authorization) and age 18 or older.
