[Remote] Entra ID & Active Directory Operations Support Engineer (Staff)

Lockheed Martin's Enterprise IT team is hiring a highly motivated and experienced Entra ID & Active Directory Operations Support Engineer to join the team! In this role, you will be responsible for the reliable operation and security of our enterprise Entra ID and Active Directory environments, supporting critical identity-and-access-management (IAM) infrastructure.ResponsibilitiesConfiguring and maintaining Entra ID and Active Directory environments to meet enterprise security requirementsDeveloping metrics and KPIās to optimize performance and proactively detect problemsResearching and developing automation to optimize tasks and responses to threatsWorking collaboratively with internal stakeholders to understand access needs and implement solutionsWorking closely with Engineering teams on deployments, upgrades and service enhancementsStaying up to date on the latest Entra ID and Active Directory features and best practicesMaintaining current expertise in identity security and applying it to continuously reduce risk in our directory environmentsProviding day-to-day operational support for Entra ID and Active Directory, including service request fulfillment and troubleshootingParticipating in regular on call rotation for production Active Directory and Entra servicesSkillsSignificant experience designing, building, running and supporting Active Directory on premise and in hyperscaler environmentsExperience running and supporting EntraIDProficient in Authentication technologies such as Kerberos, LDAP, and NTLM including TLS, SSO, SPN, and Keytab requirementsProven experience scripting with PowerShell to automate tasks like configuration management and provisioningStrong understanding of network Ports and Protocols related to delivering Directory servicesProven experience leveraging logging and diagnostic tools (Splunk, Wireshark, etc.) to monitor performance, optimize and isolate issuesCreate and maintain comprehensive documentation, standardāoperatingāprocedures, and architecture diagrams for ADārelated servicesExperience leveraging REST APIs to manage identity systems including Microsoft GraphExcellent communication, collaboration and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and achieve business outcomes with minimal supervisionBachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field (or equivalent experience)Eligibility to obtain a DoD secret clearanceSecurity+ or CISSP certificationsActive Secret clearance or higherBenefitsMedical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.This position is incentive plan eligible.Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees.Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays.Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays.PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.Full-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work remotely full time at a location other than a Lockheed Martin designated office/job site.Employees may travel to a Lockheed Martin office for periodic meetings.Company OverviewLockheed Martin is a global security and aerospace company that specializes in advanced technology systems, products, and services.
