The Enterprise Application Owner for the Account Management Platform will lead the application lifecycle, ensuring it supports client service details and workflow management while aligning with organizational goals.ResponsibilitiesOwn the Vision: Define, communicate, and secure executive alignment for applicationās long-term strategic vision (3-5 years), ensuring it directly supports organizational objectives and key business capabilitiesRoadmap Management: Develop and maintain the actionable Application Roadmap, balancing new feature development, major upgrades, technical debt reduction, and eventual retirement or replacement planningBusiness Partnership: Serve as the primary liaison to designate Business Process Owners, translating business needs, regulatory changes, and pain points into prioritized, clear, and detailed functional requirementsValue Rationalization: Continuously measure and report on the application Business Value and Return on InvestmentDemand Governance: Lead the Intake and Prioritization process for all change requests, new features, and bug fixes, arbitrating between competing business demands to ensure IT resources are focused on the highest-value initiativesFinancial Management: Own the Total Cost of Ownership, managing the annual operating and capital budgets for the application, including licensing, maintenance, hosting, and developmentVendor Management: Manage key relationships with application software vendors, overseeing contract negotiations, license compliance, and service delivery performanceDelivery Accountability: Be ultimately responsible for the successful delivery of all major projects and features defined in the roadmap, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to required quality standardsOperational Health: Collaborate closely with IT Operations to monitor the applicationās performance, availability, and reliability (SLAs), driving root cause analysis and implementing long-term solutions for recurring operational issuesSystem Integrity: Ensure the application architecture adheres to enterprise standards and manage the process of keeping the application on a current, supported version to mitigate technical risk and security vulnerabilitiesData Stewardship: Act as or closely supports the designated Data Steward, ensuring the application adheres to data governance policies, maintaining data quality, integrity, and compliance within regulations (e.g PII, retention policies)Security & Compliance: Ensure the application environment meets all corporate IT Security, Risk, and Audit requirements, leading and tracking remediation efforts for any identified security findingsDocumentation: Maintain up-to-date documentation on the applicationās business processes, technical architecture, data model, and license usageLead, mentor, and develop a high-performing global IT team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountabilityBuild and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and partners to ensure effective delivery of enterprise applicationsSkillsBachelor's degree required10+ years of technology experience with at least 3 years in an Application Owner & Business Analyst, Product Manager, Solution Architect role focused on large-scale Enterprise Applications (ERP, CRM, etc)Demonstrated experience defining and managing a multi-year application roadmapProven ability to manage budgets, forecasts, and Total Cost of OwnershipExcellent ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical business leaders and vice versaStrong understanding of modern software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum)Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skillsStrategic thinking and business acumen in Benefits AdministrationExceptional Prioritization and Negotiation skills across competing stakeholder groupsExperience successfully managing an IT Control environment including alignment with Sarbanes-Oxley, SOC, GAAP, COBIT, ISO and ITILExperience operating, leading, and managing at a global scaleAbility to be initiative-taking, anticipating business needs in advance and providing workable solutionsAbility to establish and maintain strong relationships with many diverse constituencies and stakeholders and appropriately
