The role involves building strong relationships with agencies, understanding their needs, and developing a territory across several states while managing complex sales cycles.ResponsibilitiesOwning and developing your territory across CA, ID, TX, CO, AZ, NM, UT, and NVDeciding where to spend your time and how to approach each accountDoing meaningful research before outreach—not relying on volumeBuilding relationships with CIOs, directors, and agency leadersManaging long, complex sales cycles once opportunities developLeading conversations focused on understanding problems and offering valueWorking closely with Pre-Sales, Proposal, and Client Services teamsNavigating RFPs, procurement processes, and internal approvalsIdentifying and prioritizing agencies within your territoryResearching how those agencies operate and where challenges existConnecting with the right people and providing meaningful content that’s relevant to themBuilding relationships before there’s an active dealStaying consistent with follow-up and engagement, even when nothing is immediateTurning those relationships into qualified opportunities when timing and need alignSkillsAt least 3-5 years of experience selling in the Public Sector spaceExperience with long or complex sales cycles, especially in the PubSec spaceAbility to build relationships with CIOs, directors, and agency leadersExperience navigating RFPs, procurement processes, and internal approvalsAbility to research agencies and understand their structure and decision-making processesAbility to create a pipeline from scratchExperience working with regulatory agencies (permitting, licensing, gaming, alcoholic beverage control, or similar)BenefitsCommissionRemote or hybrid (aligned with our Denver-based team)Travel up to 25%Company OverviewComputronix provides permitting, licensing, inspection and compliance solutions for government, based on our award-winning POSSE platform.
