[Remote] Enterprise Account Executive

The role focuses on acquiring new freight brokerage relationships through a consultative, value-driven approach, managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to contract execution.ResponsibilitiesSeek, qualify, and close new business with freight brokerages, owning the full sales cycle from prospecting through contract executionBuild and maintain an active pipeline to ensure year-over-year revenue growthGenerate pipeline through consistent multi-channel outreach, including but not limited to cold calling, email, LinkedIn messaging, video outreach, and networkingConduct discovery meetings, ROI analysis, product demonstrations, pilot scoping, and negotiationsBuild and manage relationships with operational leaders, pricing teams, technology stakeholders, and executive sponsorsDevelop strategic account plans for target enterprise prospectsMaintain accurate forecasting and disciplined pipeline management throughout the sales processPartner with Marketing on campaigns and lead follow-up while maintaining a strong self-sourced pipelineRepresent the company at industry events including TIA, FreightWaves, Manifest, and other conferencesWork cross-functionally with Marketing, Customer Success, Product, and Leadership to support customer acquisition and long-term growthSkills7+ years of B2B sales experience, selling into freight brokerages, 3PLs, or logistics providersProven track record of closing complex enterprise deals and managing long, multi-stakeholder sales cyclesStrong discovery, presentation, negotiation, and consultative selling skillsComfortable working in a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing prioritiesAbility to travel up to 30% for customer meetings, conferences, and trade showsStrong familiarity with industry technology, including TMS, pricing tools, automation, or workflow softwareAbility to productively work remotely and operate independentlyFreight Tech Sales experienceExperience using Salesforce and modern sales engagement platforms (Apollo, Sales Navigator, Gong)Benefits401(k)MedicalDentalVisionUncapped commissionCompany OverviewJourney is the leading Recruiting, Consulting, and Training company for the freight brokerage industry.
