As an Engineering Manager, you will lead the software development and delivery of key open source projects, guiding a distributed engineering team and ensuring high-quality delivery in collaboration with Product Management.ResponsibilitiesManage, coach, and develop a high-performing distributed engineering team, including full responsibility for goal setting, performance reviews, and career developmentOwn and prioritize the team backlog in close collaboration with Product Management and key stakeholdersOwn the team-level roadmap and detailed requirements, partnering closely with Product Management on overall directionEnsure delivered work meets quality standards and aligns with defined user workflows and acceptance criteriaOwn end-to-end software delivery in a modern, agile environment while implementing engineering practices, including AI-assisted development, that improve team focus, velocity, and qualityEnsure optimal delivery and team efficiency by tracking key engineering metrics and proactively removing required roadblocksSkills5+ year experience managing and developing engineering teams in a modern software environmentExperience within a product-focused organization delivering open source or commercial softwareStrong understanding of designing and building RESTful APIsStrong understanding of modern software development practices and the SDLC, including the use of AI-assisted development toolsPassion for building high-quality, scalable, and reliable softwareHonesty and empathy to those around you on a daily basisAbility to operate with a high degree of ownership and deliver results with minimal oversightAbility to build trust with both senior leadership and highly skilled engineersStrong attention to detail with an understanding of how current decisions impact long-term platform evolutionConfidence and decisiveness, with the ability to remain flexible and open to new ideasBenefitsDiscretionary bonusesOption grantsA comprehensive benefits packageCompany OverviewNetwork to Code is THE network automation solution provider changing the way networks are managed, consumed, and operated.
