The Engineering Manager will lead the technical side of platform engineering and integrations, ensuring successful customer delivery and collaboration across teams.ResponsibilitiesPartner with Sales and Business Development as the technical lead throughout the sales cycle and delivery processJoin customer calls to explain API functionality, sandbox environments, data formats, authentication, error handling, and platform constraintsLead technical reviews and tailored solution discussions aligned to customer and product requirementsAnswer complex technical questions live to remove blockers and accelerate executionProvide detailed post-call follow-ups including technical summaries, architecture diagrams, and next stepsServe as the internal and external SME on our SaaS platform, APIs, integrations, and supported workflowsAdvise customers and internal teams on best-practice integration approaches and implementation strategiesSupport Business Development by clearly communicating carrier availability, supported programs, and technical feasibilityCollaborate with Engineering to confirm technical requirements, edge cases, and delivery timelinesAct as an escalation point for integration-related issues, reducing friction across Account Management, Operations, and EngineeringHelp define, support, and improve SLAs for technical tickets and customer integrationsIdentify recurring integration issues and drive root-cause resolution with EngineeringStreamline technical workflows to reduce back-and-forth and improve time-to-resolutionCreate and maintain high-quality technical documentation, including FAQs, integration guides, and implementation resourcesAnalyze common integration questions and convert them into scalable documentation and knowledge-base contentImprove internal enablement by aligning Sales, AMs, and Ops on accurate technical messaging and expectationsPartner closely with Engineering to align technical realities with customer-facing messagingProvide feedback on product gaps, integration friction, and roadmap risksSupport clearer communication around product changes, launch timelines, and roadmap updatesSkills5+ years of experience as an Engineering Manager, Solutions Engineer, or Technical Lead in a SaaS environmentStrong experience with APIs, integrations, and technical system designProven ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiencesExperience supporting customer integrations, implementations, or onboardingExcellent written and verbal communication skills, including technical documentationHighly organized, proactive, and able to operate independently in ambiguous environmentsExperience in API-first, fintech, insurtech, or highly regulated SaaS platformsFamiliarity with carrier integrations or complex third-party ecosystemsExperience creating presales architecture diagrams or technical enablement materialsExposure to ticketing systems and SLA-driven support modelsBenefitsPerformance bonus or commissionEquity in the form of restricted stock unitsParticipate in the Company's standard employee benefits programs, which currently include health care benefitsRetirement benefitsThe amount of paid days off (paid sick leave, parental leave, paid time off, or vacation benefits)Any other tax-reportable benefitsCompany OverviewQuinStreet is an online performance marketing company providing technologies for businesses to identify their targeted audiences.
