[Remote] Engineered Sales Manager

The Engineered Sales Manager will be responsible for generating system specifications by building relationships with engineers and contractors, providing application support, and ensuring compliance with design guidelines.ResponsibilitiesCalls on engineers, selected design build contractors and/or End Users facility managers to obtain total system specificationsProvides a high level application and system selection supportAssists consulting engineers, selected design/build contractors, design firms, and/or End Users to understand the full range of existing and future products and servicesConducts product introduction meetings and product trainingProvides expertise on application and system design of specialty productsCommunicates Federal, State and Local code compliance requirements and ASHRAE design guidelinesProvides early identification of changing customer and market area requirements; identifying trends, opportunities and threats to the businessEstablishes and nurtures a viable partnership with the existing engineering firms, contractors, Sales force, and OEM customersSkillsBachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience3-5 years related experienceAbility to communicate effectively with the mechanical engineering community to drive total company system specificationsExcellent verbal and written communication, presentation and training skillsSales oriented and team focusedStrong industry and product knowledgeStrong abilities with building relationships, listening, persuading, negotiating and managing timeKnowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services. This includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systemsKnowledge of principles and processes for providing customer service.
