[Remote] EMR Business Analyst

As an EMR Business Analyst, you will work collaboratively with clients to support, configure, and optimize their eClinicalWorks environments, ensuring best practices are followed for improved patient experiences.ResponsibilitiesConduct observations of users in their environment to identify areas for improvement and suggestions for work-flow redesignReview and coordinate improvement to optimize practice performance metrics and productivityGenerate assessment reports including findings, detailed recommendations, and rationaleGather requirements from project sponsors and executivesParticipate in client discovery and sales callsAssist clients to plan and manage tasks to support implementations, integrations, optimizations, data migrations and upgradesConduct recurring calls to discuss status of tickets and projects. Keep clients informed of new enhancements and settings that will improve their workflows for better patient experience and provide routine updatesTrack tasks and maintain project materials and client goalsCommunicate with necessary vendors and assist with keeping vendor tasks on trackServe as an escalation to our internal team for issue resolution. Performs monthly maintenance, SRA requirements, and provide proactive careProvide remote and onsite issue resolution support for practices who are implementing, optimizing, or upgrading EHR/EPM systemsAssist and consult with coordinating practice requests for system modifications, routine updates, Integrated services, and enhancementsSupervise an issue knowledge base that documents specific issues and workflows related to the applicationOversee, develop, and continuously update training materials for various training sessions (Orientation, Internal Workflows, Practice Workflows, Role Based Workflows, Helpful Hints)Conduct classroom style training for users as neededConduct one-on-one training sessions with users as neededSystem Administration & Customization (Super user/Admin)Maintain knowledge of our standard configurations and processesAbility to train & assist users with running canned basic clinical and financial reports, as well as basic custom reportsConnect practice workflows and eClinicalWorks setup with reporting issues and the ability to identify and address areas for improvementSkillsAbility to customize and configure eClinicalWorks to support practice, pay, or reporting requirementsHealthcare Technology Specific Skills: Ability to evaluate and analyze eClinicalWorks build, features, and functionality for problem resolutionAbility to document clinic processes, work-flow design improvementKnowledge of healthcare best practices related to patient flow, staffing roles, and complianceKnowledge of healthcare data concepts & measuresUnderstanding of the medical billing processMust be a team player and enjoy a fast-paced environmentAbility to lead a team or engineers as well as work independentlyAbility to multitask and effectively prioritize client requestsExcellent problem-solving and customer service skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsCompany OverviewAbacus is a global managed IT and cybersecurity service provider built for highly regulated industries.
