They are seeking an EMR Analyst II to support Epic Radiant by optimizing radiology, imaging, and endoscopy workflows, ensuring system reliability, and enhancing patient care delivery through technology.ResponsibilitiesAnalyze, design, implement, and maintain moderately complex systems that greatly improves clinical care and patient managementSupport system testingDocument testing outcomesWork to develop technical solutionsUtilize development lifecycle process, operating procedures, and documentation to implement and support system solutionsWhere applicable, collaborate on the scheduling of the applicable clinical systems training and build environments to ensure currency and usability to support end user trainingIndependently develops educational technology content for applicable useRecommends opportunities for and participates in process improvement to advance education and learning processes, content tracking, content review and revisionDrives the use of multivariate learning modalities to cover the adult learning spectrum and clinical system education needTake ownership of tasks with sense of urgency and drive them to completionTake initiative and know what needs to be doneCommunicate to supervisor regarding overall issues, roadblocksIdentify the appropriate resources needed to complete small/medium projectsSupport the communication on project-related issues and developmentsWork with cross functional teamsAttend and participate in design and leadership team meetings for the various clinical applications deployed throughout the hospitalConsult with end users to ensure that clinical system applications and accompanying training programs and materials support global and unique patient care delivery processesNetwork with internal and external experts to identify best practices for clinical system use and trainingPromote use of industry best practice tools for efficiency and innovative education and learningMaintain currency in the field by participating in educational opportunities provided by vendor and other customer connectionsConduct and participate in instructional sessionsUse knowledge to improve skillsDevelop and maintain positive relationships, both internal and external to CCHMCMotivate people and encourage teamworkWork well with others and fosters a positive team environmentPrepare oral and written presentationsSupport/and or lead the design, development, and implementation of new and enhanced application requestsSupport and/or lead project plans and other project- related documentation for moderately complex projectsDetermine the scope of moderately complex projectsCoordinate the appropriate resources neededPrioritize, organize, and complete assigned tasks and associated documentation upon directives from supervisor or customersSeek the appropriate resources needed for activitiesCoordinate and facilitate communication between internal and external parties on assigned tasks and related issuesEffectively works with cross functional teams to ensure proper integrationConsult with and support the end user community to develop and validate requirements for system solutionsDevelop collaborative professional relationships with customer group and key stakeholdersDemonstrates advanced troubleshooting skillsEnsure outstanding end-user support is provided, including ongoing monitoring of Service Level Agreements for incident management and collaboration with other areas to ensure customer-centered incident management and supportIndependently critically thinks to work through details of a problem to reach a positive solutionPlan and execute the support for a user base through clinical system training and the creation and curation of advanced education and training materialsAdhere to and promote continual adoption of change management policies and proceduresInteract with all levels of staff throughout the Medical Center in a collaborative Courteous, Attentive, Respectful and Enthusiastic team members, and Safe (CARES)SkillsBachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience2+ years of work experience in a related job disciplineEpic Radiant certification (or willingness to obtain within six (6) months of hire)Additional Epic certifications (e.g., Lumens, Cupid, Ambulatory, OpTime, or related modules) preferred3+ years of experience supporting Epic systems in a healthcare environment, including system build, configuration, testing, and optimizationDemonstrated experience supporting radiology, imaging, or endoscopy workflows, including order-to-result and modality integration processesExperience collaborating with Radiology, procedural areas, and clinical operations to translate workflow needs into system solutionsStrong understanding of clinical workflows across inpatient and outpatient imaging and procedural environmentsExperience participating in or leading moderately complex projects, including enhancements, upgrades, or system implementationsBackground in troubleshooting system issues, root cause analysis, and process improvement initiativesExperience developing and delivering end-user training or educational materials to support system adoptionFamiliarity with integration points between Epic and third-party imaging systems (e.g., PACS, VNA, or other radiology technologies and image capture platforms)Strong communication skills with the ability to partner effectively with clinical, operational, and technical stakeholdersProven ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently in a fast-paced environmentKnowledge of healthcare regulatory and compliance considerations related to clinical systemsCompany OverviewCincinnati
