They are seeking an Electromagnetic Modeling and Simulation CAD Support Engineer who will develop detailed design specifications, prepare CAD models for RF projects, and collaborate effectively within a team. Responsibilities Develops detailed design specifications for products and structures Specifies dimensions, materials, and procedures Prepares and creates computer-aided design (CAD) models essential for our radio frequency (RF) electromagnetic modeling and simulation projects Applies knowledge of policies, procedures and practical application of the general and specific technical aspects of the job to complete varied and complex work Contributes as a collaborative team player Displays strong communication skills and the ability to manage and estimate their time effectively Works independently within established procedures and practices Skills Experience with creating accurate 3D CAD models of various platforms and ancillary equipment from 2D mechanical drawings Ability to follow standard operating procedures to enter and manage verified models within a centralized database Ability to simplify complex mechanical CAD files to retain only the components necessary for radio frequency electromagnetic modeling and simulation Ability to provide estimates for the time required to complete assigned modeling tasks Secret clearance Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a Scientific field Knowledge of modeling antennas based on real-world data or vendor-provided data sheets Ability to communicate progress and any potential issues to project stakeholders in a clear and timely manner Ability to support multiple projects throughout the year and manage competing priorities effectively Benefits Health, life, disability, financial, and retirement benefits Paid leave Professional development Tuition assistance Work-life programs Dependent care Recognition awards program Company Overview Booz Allen Hamilton is a consulting firm that specializes in analytics, technology, and engineering.
