[Remote] Electrical Safety Program Manager

They are seeking an Electrical Safety Program Manager who will develop site-based Electrical Safety Plans for customers, drive safety program strategies, and ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.ResponsibilitiesDefine Safety Program elements and enterprise metrics for external customersDevelop electrical safety strategy and execution across multi-country business units, ensuring alignment with enterprise objectives, regulatory requirements, and ISO 14001 standardsServe as senior advisor to external business and site leadership, partnering on capital projects, regulatory compliance initiatives, water recycling, pressure testing processes, and specialized risk-based trainingAct as primary liaison with client leadership, legal, security, and facilities teams, aligning safety, emergency preparedness, ergonomics, and regulatory compliance with business and brand risk expectationProvide customer site consultation for safety issues and or problemsFacilitation and involvement in Safety CommitteesReview and assist with development of necessary plans, procedures and strategies implementation and ensures their consistency and adequacyInterface with all levels of the organizationHave strong working knowledge of Electrical Safety and NFPA 70, NFPA 70E and NFPA 70BConducts safety audits and hazard assessments when appropriate in conjunction with applicable safety programs and/or regulationsSkillsBachelor's degree desired, preferably in Electrical, Occupational Health and Safety or Safety Science5 to 10 years of experience in Electrical work (low and medium voltage) and/or ConstructionStrong organizational and research skillsStrong analytical skillsExcellent oral and written communication skillsHave excellent computer skills, MS Word, MS PowerPoint and MS ExcelStrong customer service skillsBroad knowledge of environmental, health, safety, NFPA 70E, Electrical and DOT regulatory compliance requirementsDemonstrated ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management and staffDemonstrated interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to work with necessary levels of management in integrating safe and healthy behaviors in day-day operationsHave strong working knowledge of Electrical Safety and NFPA 70, NFPA 70E and NFPA 70BExperience supporting union labor environmentsExperience working in data center or mission-critical construction environmentsExperience supporting large-scale infrastructure or industrial construction projectsOSHA 30-Hour Construction CertificationSTS-C (Safety Trained Supervisor – Construction) or CHST (Construction Health and Safety Technician) certification required within 90 days of hireAdditional professional certifications such as CSP (Certified Safety Professional) or related credentialsProficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, and ExcelCompany OverviewVertiv designs, builds and services critical infrastructure that enables vital applications for data centers and industrial facilities.
