[Remote] Electrical Engineering Manager

The Electrical Engineering Manager will lead End of Life (EOL) MEP project teams, manage deadlines, and ensure compliance with building codes while mentoring junior engineers.ResponsibilitiesLead and manage multiple Engineering Programs for a variety of project types including but not limited to the End Of Life ProgramOversee day-to-day activities of each program (EOL 30% Team and EOL 60-90% Team), including both technical and personnel managementMentor and assist in the professional development of junior engineers and designersEnsure projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with all relevant building codes and standardsDesign and draft complex electrical systems, including power distribution (208V, 240V, and 480V three-phase systems), lighting, and low-voltage systemsUtilize AutoCAD and Revit to create comprehensive construction documentsPerform detailed electrical calculations, including lighting levels, voltage drop, and load analysisReview and approve shop drawings and coordination studies (Arc-Flash/Short-Circuit/Selective Coordination)Conduct detailed field investigations of existing facility electrical systemsDirectly interface with owners, architects, and facility employees to ensure project goals are metActively participate in business development initiatives and acquire new projects through client networkingLead the preparation and writing of engineering proposalsProvide construction administration services, including shop drawing reviews, substantial and final completion reports, and troubleshootingOversee lighting control system commissioning and other field-related technical supportSkillsBachelor's degree in Electrical EngineeringActive Professional Engineer (P.E.) license8+ years of experience in electrical engineering design for buildings (commercial, public schools, healthcare, or higher education)Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit is requiredDeep understanding of current building codes and standards relevant to the design of electrical systemsBenefitsYou may be eligible to participate in a Company incentive or bonus program.Company OverviewRavenVolt Inc., An ABM Company provides turn-key microgrid solutions.
