[Remote] Electrical Engineer

In this role, you will be responsible for engineering and design of power distribution systems, as well as collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to establish design requirements and produce construction documents.ResponsibilitiesProvide design work, contribute to team technical collaboration, perform quality reviews of design packages, and assist directly with other portions of the design processInteract directly with the client, owner, and contractors to assist construction on siteWork closely with the broader multi-discipline team in a fast paced, dynamic, collaborative environment to establish design requirements and produce construction documentsEngineer and design for data center facility power distribution systems, UPS, emergency systems, grounding, lighting, and low voltage communications systems in complex industrial facilitiesDesign may also include retrofit of existing building systems to accommodate our clientsβ continually evolving requirementsManage quality, scope, budget and scheduleSkillsBachelor's Degree in Electrical EngineeringAt least 6 year experience in engineering design of medium and low voltage distribution systems, building electrical systems, and campus-style power distribution including conveyanceProfessional Engineer (PE) license requiredExtensive knowledge of and experience with industrial facility designWorking knowledge of Revit or BIM softwareSolid working knowledge of NFPA 70 (NEC)Effective verbal and written communication skillsGood computer literacyWillingness to learn and embrace new challengesAbility to lead a team of Electrical EngineersExperience with Data Center or AI Factory projectsAt least 3 years of data center facility design experienceAnalytical and problem-solving skillsForward thinking, eager to learn best practices, and contribute with innovative ideasDisplayed ability to learn quickly and driven to broaden knowledge baseAbility to collaborate and work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi-disciplinary teamsPassionate about buildings and constructionExperience in the design of large projects established on greenfield sitesCompany OverviewRigUp is a provides source-to-pay software, vendor management, and workforce staffing solutions for the energy industry.
