[Remote] Electrical Designer

Edison Smart® is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support the design and delivery of power infrastructure systems for hyperscale data centers. This role involves developing electrical designs, validating solutions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure high reliability and efficiency in mission-critical operations.ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop electrical systems including MV/LV distribution, UPS, generators, and busway systemsProduce single-line diagrams, schematics, and layout drawingsPerform load calculations and basic power system analysisEvaluate system redundancy (N, N+1, 2N) and reliabilityCollaborate with engineering, construction, and vendor teamsSupport procurement, commissioning, and testing activitiesCreate and maintain BOMs and engineering documentationProvide technical support during design, construction, and operationsSkillsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)3+ years of electrical design experienceProficiency in tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, ETAP, or similarStrong understanding of power distribution systems and electrical componentsAbility to read and interpret electrical drawingsExperience in data centers or mission-critical environmentsKnowledge of UPS, generators, and redundancy designFamiliarity with power system studies and industry standards (IEC, IEEE, NEC)Experience with commissioning or site supportCompany OverviewEdison Smart is an award-winning, trademarked, global staffing solutions company providing permanent, contract and RPO services to leading SmartTech companies.
