[Remote] eDiscovery Project Manager

The role involves managing the overall client experience, including project scheduling, scope, and cost, while ensuring high quality and client satisfaction.ResponsibilitiesSet up initial meetings to determine scope of matterDetermine format of the project and agencies involvedWork towards fast paced deadlines and set appropriate expectations internallyWorking closely with collections teams on complex collectionsConduct and participate in custodian interviewsPartner with Review Manager to ensure all review workstreams are satisfiedPartner with eDiscovery Technologist to ensure all Predictive Coding is appropriately appliedDetailed tracking of all data processes from collection to production with thorough and complete reconciliation per company SOP to ensure all data is appropriately accounted forFollow outlined Standard Operation Procedures as outlinedConsult with and advise clients through the scope of their case regarding eDiscovery workflows, project planning, database setup, etc., consistent with industry best practices and standardsProactively plan the workflow/requirements of each project with the client to ensure that the client’s expectations are fully understood and achievedManage the client’s expectations by providing routine detailed status updates and reportingConsistently deliver proactive communication with clients and serve as point of escalation when client issues ariseSubmit the requirements into the workflow systemTrack progress internally to ensure timelines and budget management are satisfiedServe as client advocate to champion the client’s needs internally to ensure that deadlines, project scope and expectations are understoodProvide updates on progress regularly as deemed appropriate during the client kick off meetingIdentify, address and document new internal processes to gain efficiencies or better client effectivenessGather requirements from the client and communicate work instructions in a clear and concise manner internally to Operations via communications or a work orderProvide guidance, instruction and work direction for active projects to Operations as neededDemonstrate and present KLDiscovery solutions to existing and prospective clientsOn-site client visits as requiredMaintain a general understanding of our industry and trends and a thorough understanding of all company products and services and technologiesObtain a working knowledge of the companies hosted review productsDrive overall client satisfaction through effective coordination and communication of client deliverablesWork with clients to establish best practices which meet their needs and address any prioritization issues that may ariseSkillsMust be proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, with a particular emphasis on Excel, Word, and PowerPointCandidate must have a deep understanding of eDiscovery and the litigation support industry, with specific experience successfully managing antitrust or other regulatory mattersDemonstrate success in the management of simultaneous projectsExcellent client relationship skills which include the ability to proactively manage client expectations, recognize client needs and adapt company capabilities to consistently meet client requirementsProblem-solving, analytical, and organizational skillsExcellent written and oral communication skills3+ years of project management, consulting, litigation support or paralegal experience in a top-tier law firm, consulting practice, or vendorMust be able to work independently and as part of a teamA solid understanding of database design and management, data processing activities and legal document review requirementsThis role requires flexibility in scheduling, including regular evening and weekend work as dictated by project timelines and business needs, and participation in a regular weekend on-call rotationBachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experienceBenefitsRemote, work from home opportunity.Company OverviewKLDiscovery provides technology-enabled services & software to help law firms, corporations, government agencies.
