[Remote] EDA CORE Business Analyst
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. ASM Research is seeking an EDA CORE Business Analyst to support dispute processing and analysis for health insurance exchanges. The Analyst will coordinate business objectives, analyze data, and improve reconciliation processes while communicating with various stakeholders.ResponsibilitiesIdentifies, documents, and analyzes discrepancies and anomalies within EDA datasetsConducts data validation to confirm data loads and report calculationsActs as a data SME and data validation tester and coordinates with the Product Owner and developersDevelops a deep understanding of the business rules, and leverages that knowledge to improve processes, recommend solutions, enhance team performance, and drive progression of client objectivesSupports and leads EDA CORE process improvementsExplains complex technical issues in terms that a non-technical person can easily understandActs as a data SME to help answer internal and external data questionsCoordinates with external teams to support reporting, process updates, issuer and client questions, and morePrepares and validates reports and presentations, including dispute metrics, team performance, and topics related to issuer performanceCreate and update existing documentation such as data dictionaries, report glossaries, canned query lists, etcCommunicates effectively with internal and external clients, including the ability to speak to large audiences and present on webinarsSkillsBachelor's Degree or equivalent OR 4 years relevant experience in lieu of degreeExperience analyzing data and presenting to stakeholdersMust be a US CitizenDemonstrated problem-solving, and critical thinking skillsDemonstrated breadth and depth of experience regarding data analysis/reconciliationDemonstrated relationship building and self-managing skillsAbility to thrive in a fast paced, ever-changing work environmentAbility to manage and deliver multiple tasks with focus on quality and completenessAbility to proactively identify and implement process improvementsExperience with SQL, Power BI, or other reporting toolsExperience in Finance or Health CareExperience with Affordable Care ActSelf-driven learnerStrong analytical capabilities to understand data sets to derive business conclusions while identifying anomalies based on business rulesExperience with EDA COREUnderstanding of EDA datasets (such as the FFM Extract, RCNO, HICS cases, etc.)Company OverviewASM Research, an Accenture Federal Services Company, is an information solutions integrator and a leading provider of innovative technology solutions and advanced analytical services for the Federal government.
