[Remote] Earned Value (EV) Control Account Manager (Remote)

This role requires a subject matter expert in Earned Value (EV) analysis, capable of driving cost, schedule, and scope performance while ensuring compliance with EV standards. The Control Account Manager will collaborate closely with Finance, Scheduling, Operations, and Supply Chain teams to manage baselines, analyze performance, and support program execution.ResponsibilitiesDrive cost, schedule, and scope performance by proactively engaging and negotiating with cross-functional partners across Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, and Program Finance without in-person oversightCollaborate closely with Finance, Scheduling, Operations, and Supply Chain teams to manage baselines, analyze performance, and support program executionImplement and document original baselines from proposals to award, rebaselines, and estimates to completion (ETCs)Read Proposals/Quotes, Purchase Orders, basis of estimate (BOEs) and the manufacturing bill of material (mBOM) to develop cost analysis comparisonsIdentify problems and interpret Supply Chain Organization needs as requiredAnticipate and manage changes to projects and operations, including technical requirements, manufacturing needs, and schedule changesCommunicate abnormalities or variances to the project teamIdentify areas of risk, opportunity, and cost saving initiatives affecting project profitabilityAttend and conduct internal earned value management (EVM) surveillances, integrated baseline reviews (IBRs), and support DCMA Surveillance ReviewsReview EVM artifacts such as: Control Account Plans (CAP), Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), Organizational Breakdown Structures (OBS), Basis of Estimates (BOE), Integrated Master Schedules (IMS), and Work Authorization Documents (WAM)Act as a liaison between Production and Controls, Program Finance, Scheduling, EV Compliance, Operations Finance, Contracts, and the Supply Chain OrganizationWork with Subcontract Administrators and Buyers to understand linkage between purchase order creation and work breakdown structure (WBS) charging requirementsAssist all contract cleanup and closeout effortsProvide training and mentoring to new and existing personnel in EV Metrics, financial analysis, and understanding EV in a Production environmentIdentify areas of improvement, document findings and solutions, implement process changes with Business Systems TeamsSkillsBachelor's degree and 6 years relevant experience or equivalent experiencePossess an advanced level of understanding of Earned Value Management (EVM) and industry standards and SchedulingAbility to perform analysis in Excel using advanced level formulas and pivot tables: power query preferredExperience with Deltek's Open Plan, Cobra, Primavera, and/or PMCompassDemonstrate the ability to aggressively track deliverables, identify technical or financial variances, and resolve bottlenecks in a fast-paced, remote manufacturing or development environmentExperienced project management and organization skills to effectively manage timelines, customer requirements and work flow requirementsDrive cost, schedule, and scope performance by proactively engaging and negotiating with cross-functional partners across Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, and Program Finance without in-person oversightAbility to perform effectively and independently with good time management skills with minimal supervisionStrong problem solving skills and ability to think strategicallyStrong ability to establish and maintain cross-functional working relationships and networksDemonstrate sound business ethics, including the protection of proprietary, confidential, and classified informationWorking knowledge with Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA), and Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA)Certifications including Project Manager Professional (PMP), Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM), or similarWorking knowledge of operations, scheduling, and/or Bills of Material (BOMs) within a manufacturing environmentUnderstanding prime contract flow down requirementsPassion for continuous improvement and lean initiativesBenefitsHealth, dental, and vision insuranceHealth savings accountsA 401(k) savings planDisability coverageLife and accident insuranceEmployee assistance programA legal planDiscounts on things like home, auto, and pet insurancePaid time offPaid holidaysPaid parental leavePaid military leavePaid bereavement leaveAny applicable federal and state sick leaveCompany recognition program to receive monetary or non-monetary recognition awardsOther incentives may be available based on position level and/or job specificsCompany OverviewImproving the future and protecting lives is an ambitious mission, but it’s what we do.
