[Remote] Drafter

Note The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Ervin Cable Construction LLC is seeking an experienced Drafter to join their team. In this role, you will plot, map, and draft in CADD for telecommunications networks, creating accurate network maps and detailed construction prints to meet customer expectations. Responsibilities • Create new Outside Plant (OSP) network designs in various applications/software • Develop and issue work prints for OSP Telecom networks • Work with Engineering and Construction departments and coordinate with permitting agencies • Create documentation and reporting to support the work package, ie bill of materials, labor quantities, etc • Ensure facility designs follow company standards and comply with the requirements of local, state and federal regulations, which may include Rural Utilities Service (RUS) • Provide any documentation required for the cost-effective placement of communication facilities • Meet project deadlines and successfully complete tasks under tight timelines • Other duties as assigned Skills • To be 18 years of age or older • Authorization to work in the United States for this company • Three years of telecommunications OSP Drafting Experience is required • High School Diploma, GED equivalent • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in a related field Benefits • Weekly Paychecks • Paid Time Off, Parental Leave, and Holidays • Insurance (including medical, prescription drug, dental, vision, disability, life insurance) • 401(k) w/ Company Match • Stock Purchase Plan • Education Reimbursement • Legal Insurance • Discounts on gym memberships, pet insurance, and much more!
