The District Sales & Service Manager will drive business development and sales activities at key light vehicle customers, focusing on establishing product sales strategies and maintaining strategic relationships within the assigned territory.ResponsibilitiesGrow, develop, and maintain strategic relationships with retail and traditional aftermarket locations within an assigned territoryIndividual contributor role managing multi-state territoryPromotes products/solutions to both direct and indirect customersDevelop/maintain technical competency for Dana productsManage key retail location relationships on an assigned basis working directly with national account managerMaintain current knowledge of competitor activities and changes in marketRepresent voice-of-the-customer within Dana and responsible for customer metricsDevelop sales strategy and objectives to achieve goals as defined in assigned KPIsDrive results with aftermarket customers (retailers, distributors, technicians/service providers, other)Make product presentations to purchasing, sales, and other customer representativesRespond to customer requests for day-to-day requirementsPartner with internal Dana teams (product, pricing, engineering, marketing, finance, training) to achieve growth objectivesExecutes on marketing and new product launches provided by leadershipPerforms all other duties as assignedSkillsBachelor's degree in Sales, Business Administration, Engineering or Related Field preferred5 years in aftermarket light vehicle or similar industry sales and business development with proven results and success in building customer relationships and negotiationKnowledge and understanding of driveline products as related to Light Vehicle IndustryWillingness to travel up to 75% of the time as needed with the ability to work non-traditional business hoursExcellent written, verbal and presentation skillsMust be well organized and able to operate independently with minimal guidance on schedulingPrioritize visits/strategy based on opportunity size/returnAbility to work successfully in a matrix environmentWork independently and efficientlyMust be able to demonstrate strong sales and negotiation skillsAbility to maintain high commitment to customer service while executing multiple project prioritiesStrong interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skillsProven problem-solving skills with the ability to work with people in pressure situationsStrong leadership qualitiesStrong presentation skillsAbility to work in a team environment and independentlyDemonstrated ability to drive work and achieve resultsCompany OverviewIn a world of constant motion, life is about balance.
