The District Sales Manager for the Central Midwest will lead sales efforts, drive brand awareness, and achieve revenue and growth targets across assigned regional accounts, collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure optimal sales performance.ResponsibilitiesAct as long-term visionary to grow current account business and identify emerging opportunities, with the goal of increasing market share, sales revenue, and profit margins at all dealersIdentify and achieve channel sales targets, through execution of selling strategiesOwn sales performance metrics to ensure success of business: customer dashboards, operational metrics, revenue generation and moreActively manage all dealer channels within territory on behalf of the entire Middleby Residential portfolioTravel onsite to visit, train and manage accounts on ongoing basis; typically 4+ days are spent in the field with up to one home office administrative day a weekCollaborate with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate and deliver success of the brands sold through the national accountsEngage with the Director of E-Commerce to elevate the digital acumen across any assigned accounts through continuous education and creation of playbooksWork with Marketing to maximize opportunity for exposure and growth inside accountsLiaise with Brand Developers to ensure adequate and proactive trainings on all brands within accountsCollaborate with Builder Sales Team to lean into any potential builder opportunity within territoryLeverage Specialty Sales Channel managers to maximize ChΓ’teau business and specifier opportunityAct as primary contact for product information, sales programming, training and general sales management for all accounts within the territoryIdentify, secure and complete display opportunities within territoryInterface with key customer relationships to ensure strong and growing partnershipsEvaluate market trends both on regional and brand basis and communicate to sales leadership and brand leadershipContinually report on market happenings, opportunities and challenges, communicating activity and progress to sales managerAnalyze data and sales platforms for assigned accounts to identify key opportunities to improve the customer experience and drive conversion ratesAlong with VP Sales, lead contract negotiations, along with the onboarding and measuring of new customer partnerships for online portions of sales where applicableResponsible for promotional calendar and strategy for UMRP pricing and monitoring within assigned accountsProspect potential new accounts to carry any Middleby Residential brandsManage dealer account activation and utilization of the MidRes Dealer PortalConduct live trainings and product demos as opportunities allowSkillsBachelor's degree or higherMinimum 5 years sales management experienceAccount management, strategic planning, and business development experience desiredPrevious experience in a customer-facing roleExperience setting and managing sales targets and forecastsDemonstrate a high level of sense of urgency, time management, and prioritization skillsStrong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skillsIntegrity, credibility, and dedication to the businessExceptional communication skills – verbal and writtenComfort with fast-paced and changing work environmentProficiency with Microsoft Office applications: Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and PowerBICommunicate with co-workers, customers and various business contacts in a courteous and professional mannerDiscretion in handling sensitive and confidential documents and situationsAbility to work independently as well as collaboratively within a teamSelf-motivated, proactive, and resourceful, with a positive, professional attitudeDedicated to company and personal core valuesAnalytical analysis of written and verbal market information; interpret and analyze correspondence, memos, reports and tablesCompany OverviewViking Range manufactures commercial kitchen equipment.
